Residential Property Pricing

The fee will depend on the purchase/sale price of the property. The tables below set out our estimated fees for freehold transactions up to £550,000. Please contact us for a direct quote for transactions in excess of £550,000.

Additional fees will also apply for the following:-

Leasehold property purchase/sale£250 plus VAT

Statement of Truth£150 plus VAT
Telegraphic Transfer (CHAPS)£30 plus VAT per transfer

The above prices do not include the costs of searches or Land Registry fees, which are paid to third party providers.

Stamp Duty Land Tax (England) and Land Transaction Tax (Wales) may also apply to the purchase of a property.

Re-mortgages

Our estimated fees for properties with a market value of up to £550,000 are £750 plus VAT. Again, please contact us for a direct quote if the market value is in excess of £550,000.

We provide a “start to finish” service, including advising on title issues, dealing with the mortgage lender (if any), registering title at the Land Registry and dealing with Stamp Duty Land Tax / Land Transaction Tax Returns. Your matter will be dealt with throughout by the same person and you will be given direct contact details for them. Any Partner dealing with your matter will have at least 10 years’ experience and our Associate Solicitors each have between 5 and 10 years’ experience.
