If the estate is less than £325,000 and the deceased made no significant lifetime gifts then there should be no inheritance tax payable. In order to obtain the Grant of Letters of Administration these are the documents we will prepare for you and submit to the Probate Registry:
- AN OATH SWORN BY THE ADMINSITRATORS
- AN INHERITANCE TAX ACCOUNT (IHT 205)
Simply complete the questionnaire below if you would like us to prepare the relevant documents and we will do the rest. We can then send them out to you for a fixed fee of £500 plus VAT and Court fees (usually amounting to £60) and we aim to do this within 4 to 6 weeks of receipt of your instructions.
